We have decided to start a new blog on youbelong.net/watts
We will still try to post a couple of updates here, but I think we will mainly focus on youbelong.net/watts - I have heard of several families having trouble posting to Blogger while in China... hence we thought we would have 2 options. If we can we will still update videos etc. here.

One week later...
Oh the wait is excruciating now!
It has only been one week since LOA, but is seems like a month. Now our daughter is so close, yet so far... I can't wait until we receive the news the we have TA and CA!
Our timeline has been:
January 28, 2009 - Referral
January 29, 2009 - LOI (letter of intent to adopt An Kang)
March 5, 2009 - LOA (letter of acceptance, our official documentation from China advising us that we are permitted to adopt An Kang!)we were advised that our timeline would be approximately 5-8 weeks for travel... an eternity!!!
Please hurry up TA and CA!

LOA!!!
Today we received our letter of acceptance from China!!!
This is the final document we were waiting for.
CCAI advised us that we should be traveling in 5-8 weeks.
Hooray! We will be there soon darling little girl, we can't wait to meet you. We love you already! It has been a long time waiting for you... now it seems like time is flying by. We can't wait until you are officially part of our family.

We are off to Disney World
Well, we are off to Disney.
Annalee is so excited. She told me the reason she is most excited about is... "It is the last time we are going to Disney World without her sister." How sweet is that?! (Actually, we are going again in March, and we won't have "Rosebud" yet, but I'm not going to tell her that!)
She hates it when I refer to her sister as "Rosebud" but, until we can decide on a name...
Bye for now.

*** OUR NEW DAUGHTER FROM CHINA***
Annalee has a sister!!!
We feel so blessed, we have been referred another beautiful daughter from China.
We received our referral call yesterday (1/28/09). Pam Rodriguez from CCAI called us and presented our daughter's information to us.
I was at work when I received "the call". I returned Pam's call from my sister's office and got the information from Pam. She asked if this sounded like she might be our daughter... ABSOLUTELY!!! We are of course, walking on air! What joy!!!
Annalee is so excited, she has been showing all of her friends the pictures of her sister, she is thrilled and of course... she wants to leave tomorrow. We are in for a 3-6 month wait. She is worth the wait!
Our daughter's information is: Henan Province, PR China. DOB 12/11/05 She weighs 24 pounds, Pam described her as "itty bitty" and "beautiful"! "She has big eyes, and a cute little face with a button nose, and gorgeous full red lips" OK, I hate to brag... it's all true! She is in foster care since 8/08 and has a foster sister. I pray she has a easy transition into our family.
Of course can't wait to get our hands on her!!!
More later... tons of paper work to do now.
